AMERICAN SOCCER CLUB NEW YORK TO MAKE A COMMUNITY APPEARANCE THIS WEEKEND 

The Fighting Tomcats will visit Middle Country Soccer Club in Lake Grove on Saturday

Long Island, NY (May 7th, 2026) – American Soccer Club New York of the National Premier Soccer League are off this week but they will be out in the Long Island community. The Fighting Tomcats will be making an appearance at Middle Country Soccer Club this Saturday May 9th, 2026 from 9am to 12pm.
“We support our local LIJSL Clubs and many of our players began their youth careers in the league,” said ASC New York Head Coach John Fitzgerald. “It’s important for young players to get to meet our guys, who serve as inspiration and role models to them.”
ASC New York players, including Aidan Kolbe, Andrew Lowenhar and Brayden Walker, are scheduled to be on hand for the event as well as the team’s mascot “Maverick”.
WHAT: American Soccer Club New York player and mascot appearance. Players will be available for interviews and photos.
WHEN: Saturday May 9th, 2026 from 9am to 12pm.

American Soccer Club New York returns to the pitch next Saturday May 16th when they host AC Newport at Lavalle Stadium on the Campus of Stony Brook University. Kickoff for “Suffolk County Night” is set for 6pm ET.
The next home match at Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale will be on Saturday June 6th when ASC New York hosts New Haven United FC at 6pm.
The Fighting Tomcats will be playing a second match at Lavalle Stadium when they host the iconic New York Cosmos in an exhibition match on June 24th. Kickoff for that match will be at 7pm.
