AMERICAN SOCCER CLUB-NEW YORK RE-SIGNS GOALKEEPER ANDREW LOWENHAR
Long Island native returns to the Fighting Tomcats for the 2026 season
“I’m really excited to be back with ASC New York,” said Lowenhar. “I think we have a strong group this year, and I’m expecting us to be a much more improved side and compete for trophies this season.”
“Andrew joined as a young keeper last season with us, gaining professional training with Coach Muntean and jumping in with the more experienced and older guys,” said ASC New York Head Coach John Fitzgerald, who coached Lowenhar at ODP. “His improvement was notable, largely due to his strong mentality and willingness to put in the work. He now has college experience under his belt, and will come in and challenge his colleagues this season.”
“I’ve been very impressed with the culture around the team,” said Lowenhar. “The professionalism, the closeness between players and staff, and the support from the front office all stand out. It’s clear that everyone involved truly wants the players to succeed.”
