AMERICAN SOCCER CLUB NY SIGNS FORWARD BRADYN BROWN
Long Island native is expected to boost the offensive attack for the Fighting Tomcats
Long Island, NY (January 14th, 2026) – American Soccer Club-New York has announced the signing of forward Bradyn Brown to a one-year deal for the 2026 National Premier Soccer League season. The former Lindenhurst High School and current Queens College star joins his hometown team as the Fighting Tomcats prepare for their second NPSL season.
“I’m incredibly excited to join ASC New York and be part of a community that values growth, teamwork, and commitment,”
said Brown. “From what I’ve seen, ASC New York brings together people who are passionate and driven and that energy is exactly what I’m looking to be around this summer. My hope for the season is to challenge myself, continue developing my skills and contribute positively to the group both on and off the field. My main goal is to help the team win a championship.”
Brown had a terrific freshman season at Queens College in 2025 leading the Knights in scoring with 30 points while his 13 goals set a new single-season rookie program record. He became the first rookie in program history to be named to an All-American team. He was also named East Coast Conference Rookie of the Year, All-East Region first team and first team All-Conference. Brown delivered a hat trick in a 7-1 win over Pace on September 17th, scored the game-winning goal over Bridgeport on October 8th and netted his fourth career game-winning goal on November 8th in the ECC Semifinal against UDC.
“Having seen Bradyn in action a number of times, I’m most excited that he’s quietly uninhibited in his play,” said ASC New York Head Coach John Fitzgerald. “He has a knack to get behind defenders and create opportunities from nothing. He’s young and raw, but I’m confident he’s going to benefit tremendously from playing with some of our veteran guys. He’s an attacking pest for defenders, exciting to watch and I believe he’s going to fit in well at ASC New York.”
At Lindenhurst High School, Brown was a four-year varsity starter, an All-State selection, a two-time All-County selection and a two-time All-Conference selection. His other high school honors include being named an All-Star MVP, Academic All-County, National Honor Society President and a top twenty student.
And now he gets to showcase his skills at home on Long Island on a club that was very attractive to him.
“I decided to sign with ASC New York because of the culture Coach Fitzgerald has created with intense training sessions, a professional environment, and valuable coach feedback,” said Brown. “Being from Long Island, having a professional soccer team in the area is incredibly meaningful as it provides an opportunity to represent the community and contribute to the growth of the sport locally. Being able to play for the club this year is an honor and it motivates me to compete at a high level while representing Long Island with pride and professionalism.”
Brown played for Lindenhurst Soccer Club in the LIJSL andBarca Academy on Long Island. He comes from an athletic family as his father Adam was a football player at Hofstra from 1995 to 2001 while his mother Tara was a dancer at Hofstra from 1994 to 1998.
American Soccer Club-New York will be making additional announcements in the upcoming weeks including player signings, home venue and season/group ticket information. The 2026 National Premier Soccer League season will begin in May.
