Sporting Advisory Committee – The ASC NY Sporting Advisory Committee is comprised of 5 members with deep experience, expertise and leadership in the following areas – competing for the U.S. Men’s National Team, leadership at MLS level – U.S. Soccer Development Academy, experience at the highest level of women’s professional soccer (NWSL) as general manager and head coach as well as youth player development from ages 8 – 20.

The ASC NY SportCom meets periodically and serves as a sounding board and liaison between all players, coaches and trainers – youth to Pro – with the General Manager / Sporting Director.  

The SportCom also promotes increased involvement of the soccer community at large – locally and domestically – in the Club’s sporting activities as well as Club Staff and Player involvement in local community service activities and those soccer specific areas of intersection that arise across the local and national areas of strategic focus for the Club.  

Four of the 5 members that comprise the ASC NY Sportcom have been appointed and agreed to serve for the initial 1-year period and they will be announced shortly.  At least one chair / membership has been reserved for the Women’s program – which is expected to be launched at some point in 2025.  Upon launching the Women’s Program, the composition of the SportCom will be adjusted as needed to reflect all aspects of the Club’s competitive profile.
