American Soccer Club Hosts Successful Tryout at SUSA FC-Orlin & Cohen Sports Complex

Long Island, NY — January 6, 2025 — The American Soccer Club (ASC NY) kicked off its journey in spectacular fashion on Saturday, January 4th, with an impressive turnout for the club’s first tryout at the world-class SUSA FC-Orlin & Cohen Sports Complex. Despite frigid conditions, 74 players brought their passion and skill to the field, vying for a chance to be part of the club’s exciting future.

Head Coach John Fitzgerald expressed his enthusiasm, stating:
“Today was a great start for our club! I’m excited about the future, with solid support behind the scenes. We had a number of highly talented players attend today’s tryout, and I’m looking forward to even more at our subsequent tryouts.”

General Manager and Managing Partner Jim Kilmeade celebrated the day’s historic significance, saying:
