LONG ISLAND, N.Y. — American Soccer Club New York continues to add top-tier local talent for its inaugural season, signing players with deep roots in the Long Island soccer community.
The club on Monday announced the signing of forward Brian Saramago to its 2025 squad.
A New Hyde Park native, Saramago started his game in the Long Island Junior Soccer League, then played with BW Gottschee before making a name for himself at Loyola University Maryland, where he became a standout attacker. After an impressive collegiate career, he gained professional experience in Portugal’s Liga Portugal 2 and played domestically in USL League Two.
Saramago brings a proven track record of goal-scoring ability and playmaking instincts, with experience competing at both the U.S. youth national team level and in highly competitive domestic and international leagues.
ASC New York will kick off its inaugural NPSL season on Sunday, May 4, against Osner’s FC at Hofstra University’s Captains Field.
